IcFEM Dreamland Mission Hospital received a courtesy visit from Mrs. Nkeiruka Obi, Vice President and Regional Director for Africa at Smile Train, accompanied by Mr. Joseph Kariuki, Senior Program Manager for Eastern and Southern Africa, and Mr. Patrick, Program Manager for Leadership and Training.
The delegation was received by the Mission Director, the Dreamland Mission Hospital Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Programmes Manager – DMH, alongside the hospital’s multidisciplinary Clinical Cleft Team.
The visit aimed to strengthen the longstanding partnership between Smile Train and IcFEM Dreamland Mission Hospital, review the progress of the comprehensive cleft care programme, and explore opportunities to further enhance access to quality cleft care services for patients and families.
As one of the hospital’s key strategic partners, Smile Train continues to support comprehensive cleft care through surgical interventions, multidisciplinary treatment, capacity building, and programme development, helping to improve the quality of life for individuals born with cleft conditions.
The engagement reaffirmed the shared commitment of IcFEM Dreamland Mission Hospital and Smile Train to transforming lives by providing sustainable, accessible, and high-quality cleft care services to the communities they serve.
